Community Development Block Grant (CDBG):
is a grant program funded by the US Department Housing & Urban Development and administered by the State of New Mexico for samll cities and Counties. CDBG is an important tool for helping local governments tackle serious infrastructure and facilities challenges facing their communities. CDBG is highly competitive and projects must meet one of the three national objectives: (1) Emergency (having a declaration letter from a State of Federal agency), (2) Removal/Prevention of Slum & Blight, (3) Impacts a low-to-moderate income neighborhood or community designated place. |
