“Thinking Regionally—Acting Locally”
A 2-Day Invitational Working Conference
San Juan College – Henderson Fine Arts Center, Farmington, NM
November 1-2, 2017

Brought to you by:
The Four Corners Regional Economic Consortium
Sponsored in part by US Economic Development Administration
via its POWER/ACC program.

The Four Corners region is no stranger to adversity, and the current economic challenges we face are causing tectonic shifts in our major natural resource-based industry sectors. It is critical that we address them by banding together as a region, including the 4 states and many tribes, to find a path that leads to a more sustainable and stable economy.

As such, the Four Corners Regional Economic Consortium will be hosting an interactive 2-day working conference, the Four Corners Future Forum, where we will cooperatively address the challenges facing the region. The result will be an innovative “action plan” identifying ways for the region to grow, and to be implemented through a collaborative effort, with shared leadership and accountability among the regional partners.

We are also pleased to be bringing some exciting keynote speakers, including Cheryal Lee Hill of Minnesota’s Region 5 regional initiative, and Jeff Finkle, President of the International Economic Development Council. There will likewise be a networking reception the evening of Nov. 1st, offering a chance for our regional partners to get better acquainted.

The event will be held in Farmington, NM on Wednesday, November 1st, 9am-5pm (Plus an evening reception starting at 6p) through Thursday, November 2nd, 8am-Noon, 2017.

Four Corners Regional Economic Consortium: a coalition of economic development leaders from New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah that are working together to create dynamic and shared data resources, cooperative initiatives, new investments and partnerships that bolster the region’s economy.
