COG Functions:

  • To serve as a forum and provide multiple avenues for input on behavioral health in San Juan and McKinley counties (Region 11).
  • To develop a regional plan that is ultimately approved and submitted to the State of New Mexico.
  • To help prioritize recommendations and investment priorities for decision makers, partners, and funders.
We would like to hear for you to inform the region's behavioral health priorities.

Early Access Regional Plan Funding

The COG, as the accountable entity, is responsible for spearheading an application to the Health Care Authority for its Notice of Funding Opportunity. In aid of that heavy lift due on December 19, the COG solicited local priorities through a request for consideration form and based on which submitted an application on behalf of the region.  The COG understands that funding decisions may be made on January 20, 2026 by the Behavioral Health Reform and Investment Act Executive Committee.
